Turtle Rock, the developers of the Left 4 Dead and Counter-Strike series, has confirmed that their next game will be Evolve for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
The game's website currently offers the option to sign up to a newsletter and also confirms that the game will be GameInformer's February cover story. We don't have many other details as of yet but, as ever, we'll update you once we know more.
In the image above, you can see soldiers, one of whom has a jet pack, fighting against large monsters. According to GameInformer:
"The sci-fi multiplayer-focused shooter pits a four-player crew of alien hunters against a separate player-controlled monster that grows larger and more powerful over the course of matches. Each hunter features its own unique items and abilities, and while the monster may be outnumbered, its size and an assortment of devastating attacks make it a more than formidable foe."
Evolve is to be published by TakeTwo which paid $10.8 million last year for the rights to the IP during THQ's bankruptcy proceedings. Variety and replayability are said to be core components of the game.
