Call of Duty is an iconic FPS video game franchise and over the years we’ve seen multiple installments released into the market. While most gamers will jump from installment to installment in order to stay with an active online community, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare saw the release of the franchise’s first battle royale game mode. As you likely are already aware, this game mode is free for players to enjoy as a standalone multiplayer gameplay experience.
Call of Duty: Warzone released earlier this year where players finally got a battle royale game mode in the Call of Duty franchise. Overall, players will find the game similar to any other battle royale gameplay experience. Players can join up in a team and drop into a large map. From there it’s a battle to acquire resources such as ammo and weapons while taking out the opposing players. It’s an addicting experience as you attempt to be the last man standing and since its release, Infinity Ward has been bringing out updates to keep the game supported.
One of the latest updates saw the omission of trios and in its place, the game brought out a quad squad option. This may have been something certain fans have been asking for, but it was clear that there were plenty of gamers upset over the removal of trios. In fact, it was so much of a problem from gamers that it was just brought back into the game.
Now players will be able to once again enjoy a solo, trios or quad experience within the game. However, it’s worth noting that there are more game modes likely to be added soon. For instance, there has been some waiting on the game to receive duos options.
