We are looking at the stats for the CS-LR4 for Battlefield 4. Check out the source video here or read our summary below.
The CS-LR4 is a sniper rifle with the Chinese faction. It outputs maximum damage of 100 out of 100, when you are within 12.5 meters of your target. Beyond that range, damage starts to decrease, requiring you to use two shots to take out a target. At its minimum it outputs 59 out of 100 damage, and it can hit a target by this much from as far as 80 meters.
Bullets come out at 500 mps, which is slow for a sniper rifle. It is faster than its predecessor, the M485, which had a bullet speed of 400 mps. In any case, bullet drop is not as big a factor in Battlefield 4 as it was in the previous game.
The magazine can carry as much as 11 rounds, 1 in the chamber and 10 in the magazine itself. If it has bullets, reload speed is at 2.6 seconds, which outclasses other sniper rifles. However, if the magazine is empty, reloading plods along at 4.8 seconds, essentially becoming a liability and making you an easy target.
Overall, the CS-LR4 is a good enough gun to use without any attachments. It has some advantages for both close range and long range encounters, but the slow reloading time in particular makes it a dangerous gun to use if you’re constantly on the ground. Please bear in mind that this is not a full guide for the gun, and of course, DICE can always tweak these stats in the near future to balance the game out.
