THQ unveiled that Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated was indeed in the works and fans were delighted to return to the iconic game they grew up on. However, up until this point, there has been no real clear indication of when the remastered version of the game was going to release.
Nintendo recently released a road map of new titles heading to the Switch and interesting enough, Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated was on the map and is seemingly releasing on May 20, 2019. However, no confirmation of the released date has been made so up until this point this can be an indication of a potential release date. Time will tell if this is the accurate released date.
