New details of Project Soul's upcoming fighter Soul Calibur V have surfaced in this week's edition of Famitsu. According to Andriasang, which translated the interview in the Japanese gaming magazine, the details are based off the "usual magazine leak sources."
Soul Calibur V is only 10% complete at this point in time, and is said to feature new characters, old characters, and "guest characters" like the Star Wars characters in the previous game.
The developers of the game intend for Soul Calibur V to have as many characters as IV. The development team has gotten an infusion of new blood, so players can expect to see new ideas and differences in the game compared to its predecessors.
The game will have a "new battle system" that improves the sluggish pace of the game.
Finally, the magazine lists the game as having a release window sometime in 2012.
