The Latest Resident Evil 3 Trailer Is All About The Nemesis

January 14, 2020 by Dennis Patrick

Can you escape the Nemesis?

Capcom has been killing it lately with the Resident Evil franchise. It all started back with Resident Evil 7, where the development team opted to bring the franchise back to its survival-horror roots rather than being more action-oriented as was the case the past few mainline installments. After its success, it wasn’t long before the development team went back and offered fans a remake to Resident Evil 2.

With both remakes of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 doing very well in the market, Capcom is keeping the remake trend going with Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Of course, with this remake, the title is simply titled Resident Evil 3 though we can still expect Nemesis to play a major role throughout the title. In fact, the latest trailer for the game is all about the Nemesis which you can view above. For those of you who don’t recall Resident Evil 3, the storyline follows Jill Valentine who is stuck within Raccoon City.

Raccoon City has become flooded with undead zombies roaming the streets in search of human flesh which makes escaping the area quite the challenge. However, there may be a bigger threat to deal with when out on the open streets of Raccoon City. A bioweapon known as Nemesis is out hunting down all of the S.T.A.R.S members which means you’ll be dealing with this creature on a regular basis.

While this is a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis that launched back in 1999, the remake will have a few changes to the game. For starters, it looks like that there won’t be multiple endings that players can get while going through the game. Likewise, if you’re not going to find a Mercenaries game mode in this release. Still, for those who want to pick up the game and enjoy it on modern consoles, you’ll be able to pick a copy up on April 3, 2020, for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
