Retailer dates and announcements should always be taken with a grain of salt and not taken as hard evidence of a game's release date.
With that being said, British game retailer GAME has tagged the release date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on November 8.
The retailer's online website now carries a splash page of the game bearing the date, and allows customers to pre-order the title.
GAME is among a number of other retailers to carry the same date, including ShopTo and HMV.
