Infinity Ward has released the latest Xbox 360 update for Call of Duty Ghosts. You can read the full list of changes here, but we’ll save you time and rundown the more interesting points below.
The most interesting addition is the addition of #CODeSports for Major League Gaming. Now, players get a Broadcast mode, as well as the ability to use the MLG rules in online, as well as System Linked, private matches.
In terms of stability, they took care of multiple multiplayer bugs, as well as one bug that made the game crash while it was loading, as well as one for custome mode functionality when no save device is selected.
They also made improvements to the spawning AI, anti-cheat fixes, fixed collision bugs, and in-game suicides in search and rescue no longer lead to dropped tags. They did some work for Search and Destroy, giving it an online playlist, as well as its own leaderboard, and increasing XP from 5 times to 10 times XP.
The game now allows ADS while moving in a remote turrent, and the Focus Perk’s view scale has been balanced out. An egregious error that makes the dog twitch when you get too close, getting you out of the game, has also been fixed.
Truthfully, we’re sure we didn’t cover all possible bug fixes players were interested in, but it just could not be avoided given the scope of what’s been added. The MLG related additions are definitely the big news coming out of it, tying the Call of Duty community closer to the world of competitive gaming.
