In a press release sent today, Speedball 2 HD was confirmed to be available on December 5th on Steam and it currently available for pre-order on Get Games.
Speedball is a video game series based on a violent futuristic syberpunk sport that draws on elements of handball and ice hockey, and rewards violent play as well as goals. Speed Ball 2 HD is a faithful remake from Vivid Games, the same developers who brought the original game to life.
It was noted that the game features "over 330 unique players, new formations and six new arenas of frenetic future sports action, Speedball 2 HD is as hard as nails and as lovely as an unexpected gift from a godfather you had somehow forgotten."
The game will be released on December 5th for the PC and will be priced at $9.99.
