Rockstar heads to crowded beaches to deliver the Grand Theft Auto Online Beach Bum DLC free as part of an update set to release on November 19. The free update brings new content in the form of weapons, land and seas vehicles and new jobs. Since players also need to look their sharpest, new apparel, hairstyles and tattoo options offer greater personalization.
Instead of stocking shelves or waiting tables, the new jobs bring deadlier, more exciting attractions to GTA Online. Players can participate in a number of beach themed modes including, Deathmatch, Parachutes and Survivals. Some of the new jobs and their description read as follows.
"Grass Route II" (Race): In this sequel to the original popular Grass Route Race, go off-road in an epic heat starting on the North bank of the Zancudo River through the treacherous wetlands with a triumphant finish on the beach in North Chumash.
"Survival on Del Perro Pier" (Survival): Skip the ferris wheel for a deadlier kind of thrill ride as you take on waves of relentless enemies at this beachfront attraction.
"View of Vespucci" (Parachuting): This leap sends you from 2,980 feet, down towards Vespucci Beach, weaving through palm trees to land on the basketball courts of the rec center. If you've got skills, it's possible to freefall through the first few checkpoints before even opening your chute.
"Paleto Beach" (Team Deathmatch): The locals complain that not a lot happens in this sleepy town, so do them a favor and wake 'em up with a barrage of gunfire exchanged between you and a rival team. This Team Deathmatch takes place right on the romantic shoreline for 4-8 players.
"Sundae Driving" (Bike Race): Sure to be a new fan-favorite motorbike race, menace Vespucci Beach on your two-wheel rocket, taking breakneck corners as you try and best the competition.
Since players need to prepare for all sorts of unexpected situations, two new weapons come part of the free update. The compact SNS Pistol and Broken Bottle melee weapon both bring effectiveness in close quarters.
Rockstar wants players to show off their new weapons and apparel while driving one of the few new vehicles part of the GTA Online update. To deal with the soft sand dunes of beaches, the BF Bifta dune buggy provides the traction and support players desire. Alongside the BF Bifta dune buggy, players can drive the Canis Kalahari off-road truck, Bravado Paradise beach van and Speeder speedboat.
Grand Theft Auto Online launch with a number of reported problems, but numerous updates eventually improved performance.
