EA held its financial report for 2019 yesterday and there has been a ton of great news coming out of the conference. One of the highlights out of the call was the announcement of EA focusing on releasing some exciting remasters and new IP’s in 2020 and 2021!
One of the biggest requests from fans for EA is the Mass Effect trilogy remaster for current-gen. However, EA has been very reluctant on releasing remasters, but it seems their ideology has changed internally as the company states they plan to release some exciting fan-favorite remasters in 2020 and 2021. This doesn’t necessarily mean we’re getting a remaster for the epic Mass Effect saga, but that’s what I’m hoping for at least!
In addition to exciting remasters, EA also working on new IP’s from two third party developers! Alongside a new annual release of an untitled sports title and Medal of Honor VR. All of this will be coming out from EA starting 2020 through 2021.
In related news, EA has a new IP releasing next month which has plenty of gamers excited. Yes, that highly anticipated game is none other than Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order! The game looks very promising as it is a single-player story mode Star Wars title that follows the canonical epic movie saga.
Most recently, EA and respawn released the launch trailer for the game which is truly epic. It showcases our main hero, the adventure that lies ahead of us, and the crazy sith-ran world. Check out the epic launch trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order right here!
