Sony recently released a PS Vita commercial tailored to the Japanese market as it demonstrates how it works and the perks of owning this micro-console.
PS Vita TV was announced earlier this year during SCEA Japan Asia's Press Conference 2013. It can be used as remote hub to facilitate remote play.
The device can play 1,300 PS Vita, PSP, and PSOne titles. It was also reported that it is capable of running PS3 games on its own without streaming assistance like for PS4 titles.
There are still no plans to release the device in the West, but interestingly it was known to be already sold out on Amazon. However, the company is open to introducing it to other markets in the future.
The device will be released on November 14th in Japan for 9,480 yen. However, it will need a DualShock 3 controller and an 8 GB memory card to function so a bundle with all of these will be sold for 14,280 yen.
