Valve announced that their popular video game digital distribution platform Steam now has more than 65 million registered users. It is 15 million higher than its numbers from September of 2012.
On the other hand, Electronic Arts' own platform Origin reported 50 million registered users earlier this year.
The company introduced and promised new features so far this year. Earlier this year, it was announced that it was now possible for gamers to link their Twitch and Steam accounts. In addition, they also introduced their own touch enabled controller which most people found peculiar.
This year was also when the company revealed their plans for Linux based operating system called SteamOs.
