When Rockstar released Red Dead Redemption, it was a surprising hit and one IP that fans were hoping to see continue. Unfortunately, its a game that never made its way onto the PC platform. Now that the sequel is available, gamers may be wondering if this game will release on the PC platform soon, despite not having any official statement to unveil if the game is inbound for the platform or not. Instead, we’ve been only relying on hints, supposed leaks, and clues that suggest this game is coming.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see this Red Dead Redemption 2 title make its way onto the PC platform. After all, Grand Theft Auto V also had a similar release where Rockstar Games launched the title on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One before finally launching the game on PC down the road. Red Dead Redemption 2 has been available for quite some time now so it’s a real anticipation game we’re playing as we wait for the official unveiling.
Now a new clue has been spotted online. Apparently, Rockstar Games applied for a rating with the Australia Classifications Board. It was the same deal that the developers had to go through when they applied for a new rating before the PC announcement of Grand Theft Auto V. While we have a Mature rating to the game, we didn’t get any indication about the platform it’s connected with.
We very well may be gearing up for an announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 underway. It would be interesting to see if Rockstar Games opted to also bring a port of the original Red Dead Redemption video game into the PC market as well. For now, we’ll have to wait and see just what the studio has planned next when they make the official announcement.
