Batman returns to an early time in his crime-fighting career and heads to Gotham's underworld to take on its most dangerous criminal. Crime lord of Gotham, Black Mask, controls the Gotham underground and using his resources, puts a bounty on Batman's head. The bounty then draws out a number of villains trying to claim the elusive prize.
