If you’re a fan of Fortnite which being one of the most popular battle royale video game titles out in the market tells us that there’s a good chance you are, then you’ll want to prepare for Batman. When it comes to Fortnite, it’s nothing new to see crossover events and new content for players to purchase. One of those new packs of goods may be themed around the Batman franchise, which was recently leaked showcasing some images of what’s to come.
Within the subreddit dedicated to Fortnite Battle Royale, it was leaked that Batman-themed items would be included in the near future. From the set of images, we have a new glider, skin, the Batman Grapnel Gun along with an Explosive Batarang. In terms of the environment, it appears that the map will be changing up to represent Gotham, the city location used within the Batman franchise.
Of course, that is just what is supposedly leaked, but others have suggested there is more content to come from the beloved IP. Batman Day is nearly upon us which is September 21, 2019, so we could see something appear on Fortnite to celebrate the occasion.
We’re certainly interested in seeing the new goods from the popular comic franchise, but you’ll hopefully hear something prior to the official day hits. In other Batman news, it was recently speculated after a few comments online that we may get a new Batman video game installment, but again, nothing official has been alerted on the matter. For now, it’s a waiting game to see what next for the caped crusader.
In terms of Fortnite, the free battle royale title is available to play on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices.
