A Plague Tale: Innocence released back in May of this year and after a few months of being available to purchase, the development team Asobo Studio along with the publisher Focus Home Interactive has given players a chance to try the game out for free. Starting today, players can download and try the first chapter for free giving a good look at how the game plays in case you’re interested in purchasing the game but never pulled the trigger.
Set during 1349 France, the area was hit with a plague leaving swarms of dangerous rats all while another heinous plot seems to be involving the capture of our protagonists, Amicia De Rune, and Hugo De Rune, siblings that are on the run from the Inquisition. With a focus on stealth and puzzle-solving, this game may not be for everyone, but even if you’re not sure if you’ll enjoy it, then do yourself a favor and give the demo a download and try it out.
While you can enjoy the demo, we also covered this game for players to see if it would match their interests. In our Before You Buy episode upload, we provide players a look of gameplay footage along with the commentary of our overall thoughts on the game, its mechanics among other interests from our time playing the title. You can check out the Before You Buy episode footage posted below and if you decide to give this game a purchase then you’ll find it available right now for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
