There are several video game titles released into the market that have been heavily inspired by Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda. This franchise continues to bring in new fans and cater to veterans of the series follows Link through a series of trials and adventures. Over the years, Nintendo has brought out several installments that further tweak the mechanics for players, but at the heart of it all, the video game remained the same.
While there have been many attempts at delivering a familiar experience that’s captivated gamers around the world, a new inspired release is hoping that it will appeal Zelda fans enough to give it a chance.
The video game is called A Knights Quest and it’s being developed by Sky 9 Games. Within A Knight’s Quest, players follow a young lad named Rusty who is a rather clumsy adventurer that triggers a series of events that could lead to the destruction of his world. Now it’s up to Rusty in hopes of saving the day, but in his way are a vast assortment of enemies, puzzles, and bosses to defeat.
It’s quite easy to see the inspiration from The Legend of Zelda in this game. However, don’t take our word for it, check out the gameplay trailer posted above. At any rate, it looks like gamers won’t have to wait very long before they can get a chance at playing this title. A Knight’s Quest is slated to launch within the fall of this year, for the PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms. The question right now is, will you take on the challenge of saving Rusty’s world?
