While Microsoft continues to develop advanced technology for their controllers by implementing the new Impulse Triggers, hardware developers want to match the advances for other racing accessories.
Force Feedback racing wheels demonstrate the advancement by simulating the sensation of increasing RPM and working ABS. Button or setting configurations, created by the player, follows the racing wheels from game to game. Instead of a game level configuration, the wheel takes player preferences from the wheel software.
Mad Catz enters the Xbox One accessories market with a Force Feedback wheel and Pedal Set. The Pedal Set lets player adjust the positioning and even the amount of resistance when pressing the pedals.
Xbox 360 wheels do not work with the Xbox One, but at least a headset adapter keeps existing Xbox 360 headsets relevant.
The Xbox One launches on November 22nd.
