The Deadly Premonition video game franchise had a surprise highlight during the September 2019 Nintendo Direct presentation. It was big news for fans of the survival horror title that released years ago as the game received a Nintendo Switch port known as Deadly Premonition Origins which would give newcomers a chance to try the series out before the surprising sequel launches. However, if you were quick to purchase the game then chances are you encountered some sound issues.
For those of you who are not aware of Deadly Premonition, it’s a game that is often compared to the Twin Peaks drama series. Players take on the role of a young FBI agent who is tasked with solving an unusual murder case within an American town. However, you soon find that there is something supernatural going on within town making the game a cult loved quirky survival horror title.Â
This game released with several reported sound issues. Everything from the sound cutting out completely to uneven audio level. Fortunately, it looks like its something that the development studio who worked on the game port is working on. The director behind the game port, Hidetaka Suehiro, has stated that they are working on the fix and news about the patch will come soon. Unfortunately, we don’t know just when the patch will be delivered, but it’s something that fans can be sure will be eager to receive.Â
