Xbox 360 users are having trouble when it comes to saving on Fallout: New Vegas. The problem occured after the recent patch update went live, once users downloaded the patch they were having a tough time saving the game. The problem is only affecting Xbox 360 users so far. Now saving is key when playing any sandbox type game and especially the Fallout sereis, where going out and discovering unknown lands is a pretty key.
Bethseda is aware of the problems and is telling users who have not yet downloaded the new 1.3 patch to hold off. They are currently working with Microsoft on the issue and hopes to have a fix and more information soon. So unless you feel like replaying sections of the game and rediscovering lands, I would suggest users who already downloaded the patch to hold off playing until a fix if up and running.

The 1.3 patch has been fixed according to Bethesda Softworks. Read the official message from the game's message boards:
"New 360 update is now available for the English version of the game, and with it, your saves should now load properly. When other versions become available, we'll let you know."
