State of Decay Keyboard and Mouse Support in Development

October 15, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

State of Decay PC players can soon use a keyboard and mouse to play.

As many PC State of Decay players know, the current Steam version only supports Xbox 360 controllers or other third-party gamepads. To appease those who despise the inaccuracy of analog-stick aim, Undead Labs currently continues work on a patch to include keyboard and mouse support.

For proof of keyboard and mouse implementation, Undead Labs developers posted on their official forums two screenshots of the mouse and keyboard options.

When asked when the patch will release, community director, Sanya Weathers, said the team at Undead "are hoping for the end of the week."

Last week Undead Labs announced the Breakdown DLC for State of Decay, which increases the difficulty of zombies for experienced players.

Unless "something goes to hell in testing" the keyboard and mouse support, the State of Decay patch launches on PC later this week.
