When it comes to Naughty Dog video game titles, the development studio adds an immense world full of details and exploration. This is especially true to their popular Uncharted franchise that puts players into the role of an adventurer, seeking out treasures and hidden worlds, locked away from the public view. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is supposedly the last chapter for Nathan Drake and the development team put in a ton of work to close out the narrative adventure. With that said, there was apparently still content that players never came across after the game had been released over three years ago.
One developer from Naughty Dog took to Twitter and alerted his followers of an Easter egg that he had a hand in with Uncharted: Lost Legacy. It’s a small Yoga scene and that’s when he unveiled that a similar Easter egg was put into Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. To his knowledge, no one had ever found the Easter egg.
This left players scavenging the game once again to find where Naughty Dog had placed the Easter egg, though shortly later, we finally got the answer. But now the question is if there are any other Easter eggs that we may have missed. With such a detailed world Uncharted is set in, perhaps there is a little something tucked away waiting to be discovered by a fan.
Easter eggs are certainly a thrill for developers to place and fans to discover. At times, you may find a reference to an upcoming video game title or even a throwback to some of the other video game titles a development studio had worked on. Currently, Naughty Dog is working on a sequel to The Last of Us and we would be surprised not to find any Easter eggs hidden within the upcoming video game title.
