Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have A New GamePlus Mode

August 5, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

Developers are currently working on the mode.

Easily one of the most anticipated video game titles releasing next year is CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. From the development studio that brought out the highly successful The Witcher trilogy has a brand new video game in the works that we’re sure all of you are familiar of. However, if this somehow slipped past you then we highly suggest checking out the first gameplay footage of the title posted up above. For those of you wondering just what game modes may be added into Cyberpunk 2077 outside of the main campaign then you may be delighted to know that a New Game Plus mode is currently in the works.

Again, for those of you who are not aware, Cyberpunk 2077 is a futuristic open-world RPG. Set in a corrupt world where big corporations thrive, players, take on the role of a mercenary named V. Using your skills to get dirty jobs done, you’ll work your way up to the bigger paying jobs. CD Projekt Red is also making this game to be played to your playstyle desires so if you’re wanting to avoid detection and go with a more stealthy approach, there are skills and upgrades to compliment your particular area of expertise.

There’s some replay value as well in this game as there are multiple decisions to be made along with different endings. As a result, having a New Game Plus mode will come in handy. This mode will start you off at the beginning of the game though you will be able to keep your upgrades and skills. Thanks to Reddit for translating a Polish magazine known as PSX Extreme, we know that this mode is being worked on right now and it’s likely going to be readily available at launch. Currently, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on April 16, 2020, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
