If you’ve been waiting for Remedy Entertainment’s Control video game release then you may be delighted to hear that the title has officially entered gold status. This means that the developers have finished the game up and discs can be manufactured. The announcement was made through Twitter by Mikael Kasurinen, the director behind the upcoming video game.
Control is a brand new IP coming out from Remedy Entertainment, the same developers who brought out Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break. This latest title focuses on a character named Jesse Faden, who is the new director of the Federal Bureau of Control which is a secret agency that is tasked with the investigation of supernatural phenomena. Much like past IPs from the studio, this is still a third-person action-adventure title with just single-player in-mind.
It took the development team three years to pull off Control and it comes with new tech and game structure according to Mikael Kasurinen. In other news regarding the upcoming Control video game, it was recently discovered that this title would require some pretty hefty PC requirements for players looking to enjoy the game on their personal rig. Regardless, this game will not be releasing strictly for the PC platform. Instead, those of you who are wanting to get a copy of Control can do so this August 27, 2019, for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. While we wait for the game launch, take a look at the trailer for Control above along with a screenshots gallery bellow.
