Disney Infinity App Lets You Make Game Levels on Your iPad

September 18, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Game worlds can then be played on console.

From today Disney Infinity owners will be able to create Toy Box worlds for use in the game on their iPads thanks to a new app.

The app will be free until October 5th and works across all models but the original iPad. You can check out a trailer for the app below which details how you can "create your own worlds" and "make your own adventures".

Disney has said they are "extremely happy" with sales of the game and that "all indication are great" despite being "early days" and the high cost of the game – the Starter Pack costs $75. It was also revealed that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are most popular.

Infinity is reported to have cost $100 million to develop.

It's unclear whether Android devices will eventually see a version of the app.
