Dreams First Early Access Update Set to Release June 6, Patch Notes Detailed

June 4, 2019 by Jordan Biazzo

Expect the update later this week!

Media Molecule has taken to the PlayStation Blog to announce that they will be issuing their first update for the recently released creative title — Dreams.

Since its release of April 16th, Dreams has been without no new updates or fixes; well that comes to an end this week as Media Molecule has announced that the first update for Dreams will be issued on June 6. The new update will add a bunch of cool new features such as the “What’s New?” menu feature, two new Mm games, and much more!

Check out what developer Media Molecule had to say about the upcoming Dreams update:

“What’s new?” you might ask… Well, just that! We’ve added a “What’s New” feature to the main Dreamiverse menu, so you can see new Mm content as it’s added. For this update, you’ll find the “Ancient Times” art kit with its adorable new characters and everything you need to craft a gorgeous scene.

We’ll also be adding two games into the Mm Arcade: Combo Crush, a coin-collecting frenzy that you can remix and make your own, and fan-favorite Comic Sands, created by four Mm jammers on a train during Train Jam 2018. You’ll also find new multi-part imp quests to reward your creativity with some cute new imps.

This patch adds in more options for AutoSurf and cover pages as well as the ability to block other users, list or un-list creations from search, replay the intro levels in the Mm Showcase, and customize the time before prompts appear.

With the new update scheduled for later this week, make sure to download it before you jump back into playing the game. Are you still enjoying Dreams? Let us know in the comments below if you created anything cool yet!
