If you’re sick of huffing and puffing after sprinting just 20 or 30 feet in Call of Duty, one of the game’s most useful perks will be returning to make the soldiers a bit more athletic. What started as a Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops unlimited sprint perk will make its comeback in this year’s Call of Duty: Ghosts, if the above image with the specific symbol is any sort of indication.
Discovered on Reddit, the perk could mean a few different things for the cross-generational Call of Duty game. Marathon Pro returning means that you’ll likely see a new wave of quick, knife-wielding players who just never stop moving. These rushing classes were prevalent in the other two games in which Marathon made an appearance, and if you weren’t paying attention, you’d likely hit the dirt before even seeing the speed demons. Increased movement also means the need for a bit more space, which could indicate larger maps for this year’s shooter. We know that they will be a bit more destructible than ever before, but hopefully we’ll learn more about their size in the near future.
That’s just another addition to a multiplayer experience full of new, interesting ideas. Looking to see how they call come together Nov. 5.
