Mad Max Screenshots Depict Violence, Adventure

August 21, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

A violent journey is ahead of Mad Max, the Road Warrior.

According to the press release we were sent, Mad Max is on a journey to get the rare v12 engine – "will he be able to get to the treasured High Value Vehicle?" Who knows? All we know is that he kicks a lot of ass along the way, as depicted in the following screenshots below.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released new screenshots in correlation with this week's demo being shown at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany. The screenshots showcase Max’s on-ground combat skills with his infamous shotgun, his skill behind the wheel and his Wasteland-ready vehicle, the Magnum Opus.

In development by Avalanche Studios, Mad Max is an open world, third-person action game where players become Mad Max, a lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival. Mad Max is scheduled for a 2014 release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
