A release date for David Jaffe's Twisted Metal has been set for October 4, 2011. Its announcement was punctuated by a seriously metal trailer filled with scenes of mayhem and destruction.
Besides its stylistic display of violence, the trailer shows off what looks like portions of its multiplayer elements, as roadsters take each other out on the urban battlegrounds with improvised vehicles.
