Sea of Thieves launched on a rocky start, players didn’t really know what to expect and the gameplay loop became pretty repetitive really quickly.
However, after some much-needed updates, the game has made a turnaround. The player count has risen and twitch has seen a flood of new Sea of Thieves content. In so, developer Rare has announced today thanks to all the streaming content, Sea of Thieves will be going on sale starting today until the end of the month — January 31st.

Late last year, executive producer Joe Neate talked about some very interesting features and things coming to Sea of Thieves’ world throughout the upcoming year during an interview with Gamereactor during the Fun and Serious Festival in Bilbao.
First off, Neate talked more on what the development team is currently doing with the game’s quest system. The studio wants to roll out a “new and improved” quest system, but this time with more “crafted lore,” and lore. If you want to learn more about that, click here!
