We’re still waiting for the official announcement of the next main installment to the Halo franchise which is something that will likely be teased during this coming E3 expo. However, one game collection will soon get some type of update that could help ease the wait before the new installment is announced. 343 Industries, the development studio in charge of Halo, has recently made a blog post regarding their Halo: The Master Chief Collection which will have some type of an announcement in the near future.
A Halo tournament is set for SXSW in Texas this March and it’s during this Championship Series Invitational that 343 Industries will be present and making an announcement regarding Halo: The Master Chief Collection. We’re not sure just what this announcement will be about but the blog post states that there will be exciting news reveal during the show. As a result, there is speculation that perhaps Halo: The Master Chief Collection will release on the PC platform, however, others are suggesting that this could be the addition of Halo: Reach being added into the collection.
