UPDATE: EA has now announced Heroes of Dragon Age as a squad based free-to-play combat title for mobile devices which will "span Dragon Age lore".
The game does not currently have a release date but EA mentions it as a "cross-platform" title suggesting an iOS and Android version is in the works.
Heroes of Dragon Age will be on display at gamescom this week and you can see the first screenshots above, courtesy of Eurogamer.
ORIGINAL STORY: EA has registered HeroesOfDragonAge.com and may be about to announce a social RPG based around BioWare's franchise.
The discovery was made by Kotaku's Superannuation who Tweeted:

Alternatively, Heroes of Dragon Age could be a MOBA game although EA has already ventured into that scene with Dawngate and may not want to risk cannibalising their existing title.
It's possible we'll have an announcement soom, maybe as early as the EA gamescom media briefing this week. BioWare Sacramento, now Captial Games, were working on a 3D Unity title for mobile platforms recently which is likely the Heroes of Dragon Age project.
The next confirmed game in the Dragon Age franchise, Inquisition, is set to be released in Autumn 2014 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
