Just in time for Gamescom, Paris-based indie game developer Amplitude Studios has just revealed their latest title, Dungeon of the Endless. Along with that announcement comes this mysterious little trailer:
We can see this early that the game is adopting a retro style amalgating pixel and computer generated images. No further details on the game's story, genre or even platform has been announced.
Amplitude has made exclusively PC games thus far, however, so it's likely that this will be the same. They have worked on titles such as Battlefield, Rayman, Call of Juarez, and Might and Magic, and most recently released their first original title, a turn based space simulation called Endless Space. Amplitude has also been active with GAMES2GETHER, an initiative that allows the community to help in the development process of a game.
Amplitude is hosting a contest where you guess, straightforwardly, what's behind the closed door? Teased prizes include t-shirts and posters. If you'd like to join in, sign up and comment here.
