PlayStation consoles are popular in Japan, and because of the strong sales of the hardware, many different Eastern developers create games with Sony’s consoles in mind. The PlayStation team (via the PlayStation Blog) wants to celebrate the creativity coming from the Land of the Rising Sun, and it’ll be doing just that in the coming weeks through major PlayStation Network discounts.
The great deals will only apply to the PlayStation Vita, though, which has a meek-yet-creative lineup of games worth dropping some cash on. Starting tomorrow, prices on some of the best Vita software will be up to 50 percent off for standard PSN players, while PlayStation Plus members may see up to 75 percent off some of the best games on the market.
