Major Nelson tweeted a day in advance that Zootfly's Narco Terror and Pwnee Studios' Cloudberry Kingdom, both drawing inspiration from video games of old, will both be making their way to the Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday.

Narco Terror is a no-frills overhead twin stick shooter running on Zootfly's proprietary Zen engine. The game has you blasting through an international drug cartel as Rick Quinn, en route to saving your daughter from big boss Delgado. It does not seem like Narco Terror is pushing Zen to its capabilities, but of course, that's beside the point.
Cloudberry Kingdom is best described as a algorithm random generating platformer level game. No one level will be the same, and the screen will be filled to the brim with traps, obstacles, projectiles flying above and below, and every manner of hindrance that will make getting through the game a perverse pleasure. Pwnee boasts they have developed a particularly intelligent AI, who will always keep tweaking the game to make it that much difficult as your performance gets better.
The game's premise has you playing disgruntled, middle-aged hero/rescuer Bob, who's gotten tired of having to save the same princess over and over. If you don't care much for Bob, the game will also allow you to create your own platformer from the ground up.
Both games have had the good fortune of having been picked up by major studios in Deep Silver and Ubisoft respectively. Cloudberry Kingdom is particularly well known for their widely succesful Kickstarter.
Whatever floats your boat, if you've got a 360, make sure you don't miss either game when they come out on Wednesday!
