The Elder Scrolls Online will be coming to gamers in Spring 2014. With World of Warcraft seeing another downard turn regarding its subscriber base, we can only guess at how big the release of this title will be. There is a hungry host of once-dedicated MMORPG players ripe for the picking, and the Elder Scrolls Online appears to fit the bill on what it will take to bring those gamers back to the keyboard. Though games like League of Legends have gobbled up a huge portion of the massively multiplayer online market, it goes without saying that we're long overdue for another lore-based RPG title such as TESO.
Due to the game's upcoming release, Bethesda Softworks and the crew at Zenimax Online Studios have begun to release more footage of the game. A few short months ago, new information and media pertinent to the game were extremely hard to find. Now, there seems to be a reveal at least once a week. This time around, it comes in the form of a new trailer detailing an enemy type: the Scamp.
The Scamp appears to be a sort of imp-type enemy with the ability to throw fire at his or her adversaries. While this sounds like a very deadly denizen by itself, the video indicates the real danger comes when they pack together. Large groupings of these enemies are shown, and while we expect them to be a lower-level starting zone enemy, it's no less interesting to see what sort of opponents and creatures Zenimax/Bethesda have in store for us.
