One of the video games teased during E3 of this year that remained to be a bit cryptic was The Quiet Man from Square Enix. Initially, the game focused on a deaf character who was cleaning up the mean streets from thugs and other hooligans that lurked about. Today we’re finding out that the game will be launching this November for the PC and PlayStation 4 platforms.
It wasn’t until a few months after the E3 expo that we learned a bit more about the game narrative. Players take the role of a deaf protagonist named Dane who is seeking out the kidnappers of a songstress. With brutal enemies in your way, Dane will have to use all of his combat skills to take them out and find the person leading the group, a mysterious masked man.
While we heard that the game would be relatively short, Square Enix isn’t looking to get the full hefty triple AAA price tag from players as it will only set players back about $15. Unfortunately, Square Enix only gave players a release date for the game so if you were hoping for more information regarding the upcoming title narrative or gameplay mechanics, you’re a bit out of luck.
Gamers can pick up The Quiet Man on the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms this November 1, 2018. In the meantime, you can check out the latest gameplay trailer showcasing some adrenaline-fueled beat ‘em up style action up above along with screenshots of the game down below.
