UPDATE: Rockstar has confirmed in the comments on its website that the footage used in the trailer was captured entirely from the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
ORIGINAL STORY: Rockstar has today released an "Official" gameplay trailer for the massively anticipated Grand Theft Auto 5 which you can see below.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is set to be published by Take Two and released worldwide on September 17th for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. At Sony's pre-E3 media briefing last month a special Grand Theft Auto 5 PS3 bundle and headset was announced.
The game is expected to sell 18 million units in its first year and you can check out the Special and Collector's Editions here. To date the title has not been announced for PC, PS4 or Xbox One.
Xbox 360 owners will have two discs to contend with and players on both consoles will need to have 8GB of free system space for mandatory installation.
Rockstar has previously released a character trailer which focuses on the game's three protagonists; Trevor, Franklin and Michael.
Yesterday, Rockstar teased today's footage but gave no indictation of what to expect.
