A forum post written by a fan who recently dropped by the Valve Software offices suggests that the company may be extending a branch to mobile platforms like the iOS and Android with Steam.
The poster, who had a chance to speak with TF2 Lead Robin Walker and Gabe Newell, confirms that Steam will be getting a video recorder much like FRAPS very soon.
The rest of his write-up mainly tells us things we already know, like the fact that Valve is planning to release the "Meet the Medic" movie for Team Fortress 2 and that new maps will be released for the game. Additionally, Valve is said to be working on a Source Film Maker.
There's no direct confirmation on whether he's telling the truth, but as the saying on reddit goes: "It seems pretty legit." It should be noted that the poster has also uploaded pictures of himself standing next to Gabe and touring the offices, so if he's lying, Valve knows exactly who to hunt down.
