The choices available to players are:
- Deploying gunships to support ground troops.
- Directing my team to the most strategic assault locations.
- Launching missiles and other deadly tactical strikes.
- Playing on my tablet – from anywhere I have a connetion!
We've already been given some idea of what to expect from Commander Mode through in-game screenshots and it seems DICE are making it a key part of the game's experience.
Battlefield 4 is set to be released on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One later this year. The Xbox One version of the game will receive the first DLC – Second Assault – as a timed exclusive. Of course, as mentioned by the poll tablet owners will be able to interact with the game from their device.
DICE are considering allowing PS4 gamers to play Battlefield 4 with mouse and keyboard if they so choose although they've also said the DualShock 4 is "so much improved" that they'll "likely' default aiming and shooting to L2 and R2.
While Battlefield 4 will focus on multiplayer, and Commander Mode, DICE are bringing "signature multiplayer elements" to the game's single player campaign.
What are you hoping to see in Battlefield 4 and Commander Mode specifically?
