Valve has announced the first DLC for Left 4 Dead 2, titled “The Passing”. The new content will feature the return of Bill, Zoey, Lois and Francis as characters you come across during the new campaign which takes place between Dead Center and Dark Carnival. Apart from the new campaign, the pack will also include a new Uncommon Infected, new Survival, Scavenge and Versus maps, a new co-op mode (of some sort), a new firearm and a new melee weapon.
The DLC is expected to hit Xbox Live and Steam in Spring 2010.
