2K has today announced initial DLC plans for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified with the first expansion pack revealed as an Xbox 360 exclusive though what this DLC entails is not yet known.
Christoph Hartmann, 2K's president, commented in a press release "We take great pride in our track record of providing high-quality post-release content for our games. We will continue to expand the XCOM universe by telling original stories set in the paranoia-drenched Cold War era of The Bureau.
Morgan Gray of developer 2K Marin added "The alternate 1962 universe that we've created for The Bureau is vast and there are many more stories to tell about the early days of XCOM. We're excited that our stories will provide a new perspective on the war effort, much like how our critically acclaimed Minerva's Den DLC for BioShock 2 allowed us to present a unique perspective of Rapture."
Players who pre-order The Bureau at certain retailers will get access to the Codebreaker DLC; a bonus campaign side mission. Those who pre-order in GAME will also recieve the Light Plasma Pistol.
The Bureau is set to be released on August 23rd for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The latest screenshots and trailer for the game can be found here.
