A lot of new information came out of E3 regarding Battlefield 4's multiplayer, including the return of Commander Mode. These 10 new screenshots show off the new environments players will shoot their way through and the perspective Commander Mode provides.
With the Commander Mode, players can use their tablets or smartphones to see the positioning of enemy squads in comparison to their team. To help your team, as the Commander you can select missile strikes, EMPs and even scan for enemy infantry to spot them on the map. Each 64-player match will only allow a few Commanders but their role can significant sway the outcome.
Battlefield 4 will release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 29th. For those who can wait, Battlefield 4 will launch with the Xbox One and PS4 and feature 64-person multiplayer.
