When Microsoft first revealed the hardware for the Xbox One, a 3D computer generated model allowed people to examine the new Xbox One console, Xbox One controller and Kinect camera from every angle. During Sony's E3 press conference, Sony unveiled the compact PS4 hardware. Using the PS4 3D model, you can spin the console and controller in every direction and even zoom in on little detail.
If you compare the slightly wider width of the Dual Shock 4 to the console itself, you will notice the relatively compact size of the PS4 compared to the launch PS3 or Xbox One.
The controller also saw some improvements by widening the distance between analog sticks and changing the triggers to replicate the analog triggers of the Xbox controllers. Unlike the Xbox One however, the PS4 controller won't feature individual trigger rumble.
Until you can actually see the console in person and hold the controller in hand, you need to make do with the available photos and this 3D model.
The PS4 will launch this holiday for $399.99.
