Following the same footsteps of other open-world RPG such as The Witcher 3 and Breath of The Wild, the upcoming PS4 exclusive, Days Gone, will feature a seamless open-world – this means no load times! This news was revealed recently at the Sony’s E3 2018 panel whereby Sony Bend’s developers were on stage to talk about the game. In addition to the seamless world, the devs also added that all the buildings interiors are accessible so you can explore each location in full detail.
When asked about narrative choice offered in the game, the devs noted that there will be certain key sequences where you will be given a choice, which will affect characters in the story.
‘Take on the role of former outlaw biker Deacon St. John: a drifter, a bounty hunter, a wandering vestige of humanity. In world devastated by a global pandemic St. John eschews the ‘safe’ wilderness encampments set up by mankind’s last survivors and takes his chances on the broken roads.’
So far the game is shaping up to be an exciting title! Thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
Days Gone launches on February 22nd, 2019 exclusively for the PS4.
