Pokemon X And Y Fairy Type Official Details & Screenshots Revealed

June 11, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Jigglypuff, Marill & Gardevoir revealed as Fariytype Pokemon with official screenshots and details.

Nintendo has revealed the first official details on the Fairy Type Pokemon announced at their E3 2013 conference, moments ago. It was also announced the game will be released on October 12, 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS.

When the very first Pokémon games launched, there were 15 Pokémon types. Then Dark and Steel types made their debut with the arrival of Pokémon Gold Version and Pokémon Silver Version.

Now, more than 10 years later, a new chapter in Pokémon battling history is about to unfold with the Fairy type! You've already met the first Fairy-type Pokémon…Sylveon!

There are also Pokémon from previous Pokémon games that will be reclassified as Fairy-type Pokémon. They may look the same, but the strategies you'll choose and the way you use these Pokémon in battle will be unlike ever before!

Gardevoir | Type: Psychic/Fairy

Marill | Type: Water/Fairy

Jigglypuff Type: Normal/Fairy
