The embargo on reviews for The Last of Us has now been lifted and the game currently stands at a staggering 95 on Metacritic but it seems developer Naughty Dog has more to share on the title.
Taking to Twitter the studio teased:
Who's ready for more #TheLastofUs news? Tomorrow will be a big day.
— Naughty Dog (@Naughty_Dog) June 5, 2013
It's not clear what the information they share will be but it's likely related to the game's multiplayer which remained shrouded in mystery until quite recently. Some have suggested the company will announce an infected mode for online play.
Back in March the studio revealed that they have no plans to bring the game to PS4 but that may have changed in the meantime. Perhaps it will simply be a DLC announcement, as with Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception – Naughty Dog's last game – The Last of Us features a DLC season pass. Unlike Uncharted however, The Last of Us is set to receive single player DLC content.
Either way, we'll know more tomorrow. The Last of Us is set to be released exclusively on PlayStation 3 on June 14th and God of War: Ascension owners can download the title's demo now.
