Nintendo has just announced the time and date of its next Nintendo Direct presentation. The company, which does not intend to showcase anything at this year's E3, has instead taken to releasing controlled videos on its website called Nintendo Direct.
The next Direct is set to happen on June 11, 2013—Tuesday on the week of E3. It's set to run at 7:00AM PST.
The company confirmed earlier this week that it intends to showcase a new Smash Bros. title for the Wii U, a new Mario Kart, and a brand new 3D Mario title.
#IwataSays We will discuss new Smash Bros., 3D Mario game, Mario Kart and other Wii U titles in our #NintendoDirectNA before the start of E3

It goes without saying that Wii U owners will have plenty to be excited about, given the scarcity of titles on the platform at the present.
Beyond Mario, there's a good chance that the company will also announce a Legend of Zelda title for the Wii U. We say this because the company has teased a Wii U-based Zelda title in the past, when it first announced the console two years ago. They called it a tech demo, but there's a good chance that we'll see something akin to what they showcased this time around, and this time it won't be a tech demo.
