Injustice: Gods Among Us has been patched up to version 1.02, which sees the addition of support for Lobo, the game's new DLC character, and better connection stability online. Prior to the patch, players experienced de-synchronizations which often broke games and made it near-impossible for some players to even play the game online. The new patch should deal with that nicely.
The patch also adds the ability to initiate transition attacks when the defender is at an elevated position, and removes the ability for two gadget characters to both place bombs on the same time on some interactive objects in the game's world, leading to double explosions.
Beyond the game's code fixes, here are some of the balance tweaks coming to the game:
-
Increased overall combo damage scaling after a knockdown from Interactive Objects.
-
Increased overall combo damage scaling on planted sticky bombs (Down + Interact button) pop-up combos.
-
You can no longer initiate a clash on Killer Frost’s Ice Spike outside of a combo.
-
The hitsphere on Doomsday’s jumping splash was adjusted to be slightly smaller and more in line with the original intention.
-
Players land slightly further apart after Arkham/Joker Asylum and Insurgency transitions to make it easier to avoid the ability to use an Interactive Object immediately after landing.
The patch is available for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game now. There's been no word on when it'll be out for the Wii U.
